Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and received refugee status to remain. Her sister in law raised her in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television by being featured in National Commercials. Ghanizada's performance on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a film festivals. A few of her TV roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. She most recently had a supporting role in the action science fiction film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was a part of The General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which was telecast on primetime television.
